* * * HONOR THE MEMORY OF MARIO AND ALL FRENCH JOURNALISTS MURDERED BY MAFIA. * * *
In 32 th anniversary of the assassination of Mario FRENCH and the anniversary of the day is dedicated to journalists killed by the Mafia, the independence of lu Sicilianu Frunt Nazziunali "Sicily Indipinnenti" I remember, deeply moved and grateful, the sacrifice and pay tribute to their courage, their spirit of service and their professionalism. Virtue, all, made the service of truth 'and legality'. And - we consider it necessary to emphasize this - the Sicily and Humanity '.
The "Mission" and the examples they bequeathed to us by our contemporary heroes were not, however, in vain. And are now followed by many other journalists, young and not so young, who also deserve our admiration.
The FNS believes that the Sicilian people have in themselves the moral energy, intellectual resources and intelligence to permanently destroy the octopus. We need it because the Mafia, pur se ridimensionata e parzialmente “isolata”, rimane viva e presente sul territorio e all’interno della economia e della politica.
L’FNS ritiene, altresì, valido ed attuale l’assioma – che ci permettiamo di ricordare anche alle formazioni che si definiscono autonomiste o sicilianiste – in base al quale la Sicilia sarà veramente libera QUANDO e SE si sarà liberata definitivamente dalla MAFIA.
